Valentines Day is the perfect reason to play a Boros deck. Come take a look at this Feather deck that has some unconventional play patterns and methods of winning.
Feather is notorious for having a very similar play pattern for every Feather deck you see, and for that reason a lot of people don't particularly care for Feather anymore despite being a highly requested character and beloved commander when it was first released. In this Feather deck, we are going to try and use Feather as a distraction while we wait to draw into a Price of Progress with a land sacrifice outlet or for our opponents to build a strong creature based board state before dropping a Repercussion and casting a Blasphemous Act.
One of my favorite things about Feather is that she makes a large amount of cards you would never ever play in a game of commander, or any other format for that matter actually pretty good! Take a look through the card draw section and think about how many times you have cast any of those cards prior to Feather being printed.
All of our basic lands need to be snow-covered to enable one of my favorite cards in Glacial Crevasses, a repeatable fog in red.

Ramp & Such
As always, I will start out with these Dan Frazier mana rocks. They just cannot be beat, I love them too much. Next up we have some "catch up" cards that are not technically ramp spells. But, they make sure you are hitting your land drops every turn which is just as important. Tithe can help you find a Sacred Foundry due to having the basic land type "Plains". Weathered Wayfarer will allow you to tutor any kind of land you want. In this deck, we will try and win with a Price of Progress, so remember that when you're searching for lands! One of the important non-basics to search for in this deck is High Market for two reasons.. this deck is toast if your commander is enchanted with something like Dark Steel Mutation but also because the other way we want to win is with a Blasphemous Act when Repercussion is in play. High Market will let us sacrifice our creatures leading up to this play.

Card Draw
This deck includes all of the staple card draw spells Boros is known for! Wait, what? Exactly... these card draw spells are bad! But, somehow Feather makes them amazing as she allows you to return these can trips to your hand to be used again. If you look at the casting cost of these cards, you'll notice how low they are so you can cast them during yours and your opponents turns. You need to be sure and include your Thought Vessels & Reliquary Towers in this deck because of the crazy draw you will have. This deck does also use an Esper Sentinel as card draw but it was not quite as fun to include in this group. Ragavan & Land Tax also function as card draw spells.

Fun Cards
Glacial Crevasses is one of my favorite red cards. It's on the reserved list and is still pretty affordable. I recommend picking up a copy of this card as it should, at the very least, retain its value. Abeyance and Exalted Dragon are also reserved list cards that are pretty affordable. Exalted Dragon is a card that I have literally never seen in a commander deck. I wanted to try and create a build where I could use it! As. you move down to the wincon section, you will see I want to win with Acidic Soil or Price of Progress. This deck is built with minimal non basics so they should be the cards you try and get rid of with Exalted Dragon's sacrifice trigger. I can't imagine a world in which someone tries to kill an Exalted Dragon. Volcanic Wind is a reusable board wipe as long as you allocate one point of damage to Feather. Lyra will give our commander lifelink which will hopefully give us some life gain that will keep us out of range of dying to an Acidic Soil or Price of Progress.

Secret Tech & Wincons
As I've already mentioned, I would love to win with this deck by punishing a greedy mana base with Price of Progress but will settle for punishing everyone with an Acidic Soil! For this reason, I have put cards in this deck that will allow me to sacrifice lands for free at instant speed. Being instant speed is critical because you can respond to the spell after you know it will resolve and sac your lands. Mudslide will lock down your opponents creatures that don't fly since we are not playing a creature heavy deck while leaving Feather attack ready. Seize the Day will allow you to have an additional combat step each turn if you are targeting Feather with it's ability and you have the mana to do so.

The Dream
One of my favorite ways to win a game of commander is by casting a Blasphemous Act when Repercussion is in play. I've stumbled across Fire Ants as another way of dealing damage to creatures and opponents while leaving our flying creatures alone.
This deck has lots of fun ways to kill your opponents that a typical Feather deck probably don't utilize.
